Pablo Serrano Otero

Architecture and the space it forms has the ability to shift from one state to another with light alone. With photography as his main tool, Pablo strives to expose the experiences created by the materiality and space created by structures we exist in everyday. His main on-going project explores these qualities in the domestic vernacular architecture of Puerto Rico, his homeland, investigating sociohistorical perspectives of the subjects as well as simultaneously exploring a sense of belonging in the phenomenal world.
