Stephanie Howard was born in Greenville, SC. The subject matter of her drawings is derived from a mythology she has developed specifically to the Southern United States. She uses pen and ink to create labor-intensive works on paper. Stephanie currently lives in upstate South Carolina where she spends many hours at her drawing table.
